The start of the perfect backyard!

We also put a deck in this past weekend, and by 'we' I mean my hubby did most the work :)

Here is a shot of the patio before:

The wood from Home Depot, delivered to the front yard and then moved by hubby to the backyard - on I think the hottest day yet. Poor thing was drenched!

The framing is completed - these are your workers from left to right:
Pop, aka 'screwdriver'
Jayde, aka 'screw hander outer'

Teague, aka "screwdriver #2'
(I was so there, I made dinner and supervised and took pictures)

Randy our neighbor showed up to help Pop supervise, it was a tough job and yes it took both of them to do it!

Teague and I slaved away all day Saturday until we were out of screws and wood, Sunday Pop came over and we finished the project! It turned out so nice and I just love it.

And what of the leftover wood you ask? Why, they make for perfect flower planters of course!
